It's been awhile since my last post..... Life has happened.... Busy working, cheerleading, basketballing,and now softballing!! I've got 2 girls old enough to play, so double my trouble... We started softball practice 2 weeks ago for both girls. They have the same practice days and times, so that is a plus... Hayleigh is loving the fact that she is an official Dirt Diamond now!! It's gonna be a funny season!!! Hannah is coming along with her pitching and getting much better at Fielding! So, this is my attempt to start blogging again...... hopefully I can keep up and do much better with the blogging.... Wish me luck!!

Wow time flies when your having fun!! My BABY girl will be 4yr's old tomorrow!!! I can't believe it!! She is a wonderfully funny child and God has blessed me with a one of a kind gal!!!! I have 2 beautiful girls!! We had Hayleigh's party today and here are a few pics from the party. We had it at my mom's house. Alot of our family got to come.... She got lots of presents! And even a kitchen~ I love you my precious baby girl!!!!!!!!! Happy Happy Birthday and many more to come~~~ Mommy loves you~

Lady Razorback Softball 2010

Tonight was soooo awesome!!! Me, Dave, and the girls went to Sherwood,AR to watch the Ladybacks play softball!! Sooo Cool!!!! They played the Memphis Tigers and won 6-1! The girls got to get softballs signed and also got there pictures taken with some of their favorite players! Hannah even got to meet the Ladyback 2nd baseman!! We got home just in time for showers and bed!! Everyone is exhausted!!! Gotta love Softball!!!! Go Razorbacks!!!

Great Weekend So Far.....

Today has been an awesome day!! For the first time in a long time we didn't have anything planned!! How nice! We slept in this morning and then Dave got up and made blueberry pancakes for his girls!! Yum... yum.... We did a little house work and then Dave took the girls to my moms while him and Mr. Bob went to Lowe's to get flowers and shrubs for the front yard... They fixed a beautiful flower bed in the front yard... And that's not all!! They have big plans for tomorrow too! They have decided to plant a small veggie garden in my backyard.. We'll see how that goes! I told them that would be fine as long as they leave room for my swimming pool! I will take pics of that progress as it takes place... The girls will have lots of fun doing that! Anyways, church in the a.m. and then green thumb club here we come!!! haha.... And then back to work on Monday.....

I'm WAY proud of my girls today!!! They played so well.... We won our first two games and then got to play in the Championship game... We lost, but got 2nd place overall!!! Who could ask for more!!! Love my Dirt Diamonds!!! And sooooo proud of my Hannah Bear... She did awesome! My girl is a true softball player... Here's some pics of today!! I've been a baaaad blogger lately! I've started scrapbooking again and just haven't had time to sit down and blog.... Need to do better!! I know!! So here's an update at the Work house... Hannah has started softball again.. They have been practicing hard and will start the season on Tuesday of this week... Go Dirt Diamonds! Baby Jake turned one and we went to his birthday party over the weekend! Happy first Birthday Jacob!!! Hayleigh has been doing great at school and is funny as ever!! She's growin up sooo fast! Yes folks.... Today was my 31st birthday.... Can't say that I'm excited about it,but what can a girl do? I had to work today and that was a bummer..... But it was soooo cool!!! We woke up this morning and to our dismay and wonderment (drum roll please......) SNOW!!!!! Now, not enough to go crazy about,but this IS Arkansas people!!! WE do get excited about it!!! hahaha.... What a great birthday present!! Anyways, when I got off work Dave and the girls took me out to eat at The Cracker Barrel and then back home to have some birthday cake!! Yum... Yum.... They also got me a candle (Yankee)...... I'm so blessed to have friends and family that love and care about me enough to take the time out of their day to wish me a Happy B-Day, whether it be from a phone call, a card, a hug, or a facebook message!!!! I love everyone and thank you for thinking about me!!!! Goodnight..... Oh, and later this week, hopefully we will have enough snow on the ground come Thursday that we can build us a snow man and take some pics!!! Excitement!!! It doesn't take much!!!

Today has been a great one!!! Of course, we got up early!!! 6a.m. to be exact.... Santa did not let us down either!!! The girls rushed into the living room and to their surprise, toys everywhere! Hannah got everything she asked for.... A IPOD nano, a docking station for it (Ihome), zhu zhu pets and a home for them, Color explosion book, and a Snuggie!!! And don't forge the stocking full of stuff.... Hayleigh got a Hannah Montana guitar, a Barbie tent, a microphone, a barbie and a cheerleading outfit.... We've had a quiet day at home and have loved every minute of it.... Mom and Mr. Bob were here and we had Christmas with them.... Also Dave made a big Christmas breakfast for everyone.... Yum... Yum...... It's been a great Christmas at the Work House..... Hope everyone else has had a great one too!!!!

Today has been a wet, wet, day....... Flooding everywhere. Me and Dave had to go to work for awhile this morning and when we got home had some lunch with Mr. Bob and Mom... Took much needed naps and then did some laundry.... We had pot roast, sweet potato casserole,and rolls for supper.... Thank you Mom!!! And then sat around and visited for awhile.... Me and Dave wrapped some presents. The girls are super excited about Santa coming... We've made the cookies, put the milk out, and sprinkled the reindeer food out..... All that is left is to go to bed and let Santa come and drop off presents.... Me and the girls have been tracking him on NORAD all day..... Fun stuff.... Hope everyone has a great Christmas!!!!

Today has been soooo busy.... And rainy...... Lots and lots of rain.... Work was busy again..... I really don't know how tomorrow will be either... They are talking like they may let us off around lunch, but I know how our patients can be...... They need us ALL of the time...... So, we may have enough business to last all day... We'll see, won't we? Tomorrow night we will bake cookies for Santa.. My mom and the girls always do that together... Mr. Bob will come over and we'll have some dinner... After the girls go to bed me and Dave will do a little present wrapping and getting ready for Santa to show up!! I can't believe that Christmas is upon us already!! Where has this year gone? We've had many blessing this year, and also some life altering changes too..... Anyways, we will be extra busy the next couple of days......I love this time of year.... I really enjoy the look in my girls eyes when they wake up and see that Santa has come and eaten their cookies and drank their milk and left ALL of those presents just for them!!!! LOVE IT!!! I also LOVE spending time with my family..... Great time of year!! Hope everyone has a Happy Holiday and a Great New Year....

Today was a super busy day... It was Hannah's last day of school for 2 whole weeks! Lucky girl! She had her Christmas party today and got a barbie doll when they played secret Santa! She also made her momma a coaster with her picture in it!! I love it!!! Anyways, the girls will go to daycare tomorrow and more work for me!! We have been busy, busy..... Uncle Jesse and Aunt JoJo came over tonight to give the girls their presents.. They got beautiful glass necklaces and glitter lip gloss!!! Walker D got a Jack-N-The-Box and an outfit from us...Between him and Hayleigh the Jack-In-The-Box was a hit!! HaHa.... Anyways, we got to visit a little bit, and they just left for home.... I was off today and stayed home... Got a few chores done around the house while the girls were at school and daycare.... When Dave got home with the girls, we got dressed and went to Benton to the courthouse to see Santa... The girls didn't have to stand in line long and the got to eat cookies and drink hot chocolate until it was their turn... Hannah went right up and sat in Santa's lap and told him what she wanted for Christmas... But.... when it was Hayleigh Grace's turn you can guess what happened!! Even with David going up there with her, she wasn't having it!! She did wave and him and told him Merry Christmas... After that we had to go get a gift for a little girl for Hannah's Christmas party at school tomorrow. Then off to eat at The Great Wall Buffet for supper.... We are now home and Daddy is wrapping presents and I'm watching Pawn Stars. Back to work tomorrow...... I wonder if we'll be busy!! You know we will!!! HaHa....

Quiet Day Spent At Home...

Today has been a quiet one.... I didn't feel well this morning and stayed home from church. Dave and the girls went... He had to teach or Sunday school class.... He said he was nervous but did well... When they got home they ate lunch and then everyone went down for an afternoon nap... When everyone got up and around me and dad got in our room and cleaned out the closet and did some laundry and folding... The girls I think were bored because all they did was fight all day! The girls will go to school and daycare tomorrow... Hannah has to go until Wednesday... Most schools are already out, so I don't really know why Bryant is still going... Oh, well... Hannah will have her Christmas party on Tuesday.. Hayleigh had hers on Friday of last week.. She did NOT like Santa at ALL!! I don't know what that girls deal is!!! Tomorrow I'm supposed to be off and I hope that is the case.... I need to do a little more shopping to finish things off.... Well, It's been a great weekend and I know it will be a fun and busy week!!! Happy Holidays to all!!!!

Christmas At The Work House Round 1

Today has been an awesome day!! We slept in a little this morning and then got up and got dressed because we had some visitors today... Uncle Mike, Aunt Bridgette,and Baby Jake came to visit us for Christmas! When they got here this afternoon we went and ate at TaMolly's and then came home to open Christmas presents... We had a blast watching Baby Jake open his gifts and pulling the paper off all by himself.. One of his presents was a See-N-Say and it only took a few times for him to figure out that you pull the handle to make it go round!! He loved it!! The girls also got some great gifts from Uncle Mike and Aunt Bridgette... They got pajama's and and outfit a piece. Also Hannah got a drawing book, a reading book, and a Bride Barbie.. Hayleigh got a doll, and a puzzle that she put together all by herself!! They also got a board game (Trouble). We'll be playing that tonight!! They left around 3pm and we hated to see them go..... We had a great time visiting! Tonight Mom and Mr. Bob came over and we cooked pork chops, rice and broccoli and cheese!! Yum... Yum... We are now sitting in front of the T.V. watching some Christmas movie... Life is Good!!

Today started out HORRIBLE!!! I had to go to work while my family slept in!! It was terrible busy.... I don't know how we kept up, but we did.... Got out of there about 12:30 and came home and had a sandwich and some cheese dip.... Took a much needed nap when the girls went down for theirs.... Then got up and me and Dave went and did a little Christmas shopping.. The stores were soooo crowded! That's the part I hate! We got almost everything on the girls list, but still have a little more to go.... We had steaks and potatoes for supper... Yum, Yum.... We are now watching Santa Claus 3... Bed time soon to come.... Upward Bound Cheer Pratice

Today has been a pretty good day! I had to go in to work this morning and do phone calls.. YUCK! But they were pretty easy and I got out of there earlier that expected.... Mom came in today and we went Christmas shopping in Little Rock... Got some presents knocked out... We went to Justice for Girls, The Children's Place, and then the mall.... When we got done off to Bryant to pick up the girls..... When we got home we had to wait on daddy to get home from work with supper (pizza) and then we had to hurry to church for Hannah's first night of cheerleading practice for Upward Bound! She met some new friends and learned some new cheers... This is going to be a great season!!! She has practice ever Thursday night at 6pm.. I wish Hayleigh could do it too, but she'll have to wait until next year.... They even got their cheer uniforms tonight.. Her colors are blue and orange.... Can't wait for the games to start! When we got home I had to make a pizza dip for a contest at work tomorrow.... Hope everyone likes it....

Today has been another busy one with the Work Family! Work was busy, busy... The girls had a great day at daycare and school. When I got off work I met Dave and the girls over at Great Clips for haircuts for the girls.... They look sooo good! Then over to Mccallister's for soups and sandwiches for supper... Yum... Yum.... Then Hayleigh need some new Nike's, so we went over to Khol's and got some on sale for 19.99!!! Lucky!!! When we got home we had a surprise on the front porch! Thanks NeeNaw!!!! We got our Christmas present from her and it was Omaha Steaks!!! Who could ask for a better present???? Anyways, Hannah has her first cheerleading practice tomorrow night and she can hardly wait!!! Also, Mom will be coming up tomorrow to spend a few days and do some shopping when I get off tomorrow! Can't wait....... Goodnight!

We got up this morning and went to Sunday school and church... When we got home we had left overs (Beans and ham) for lunch... Then naps and some chores around the house (mostly laundry). We have had a great few days spent together as a family. Dave had the whole week of thanksgiving off and spent some of it hunting. Mom came up and stayed with us all week and on Thursday we all went to Pine Bluff for Thanksgiving dinner... Mimi, Papaw,Uncle Mike, Aunt Bridgette, Baby Jake, NeNaw, Nana Dianna and Mr. Bob, Nana Carolyn, Aunt Betty, and Robin were all there.... We had a great time spent visiting with family and playing with baby Jake. The girls were sooo tired when we got back home! I had to work on Friday, and Dave stayed home with the girls.... The weekend was spent getting new floors installed in the house!!!! Yeah!!! Thanks to Dale and Shanna we got new laminate floors... It looks sooo great and it was much needed.... I'm off tomorrow (surprise to me) and I'll spend it cleaning some more around the house.. The girls will go to school and daycare to get back in routine..... Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving Holiday~~~ We sure did.....

This weekend has been a great one.... Dave went to Deer Camp on Friday and didn't come home until around noon today... He got a deer!!! He really can feed this family!!! hahaha....Mom came in on Friday and we spent the afternoon just us girls..... I got off work a little early on Friday and met mom at home. She had already picked up Hayleigh from daycare and we were just waiting on Hannah to get home from school... We killed a little time and went to Target and Kirkland's just looking around..... We went to pick up Hannah and then went home and had supper (Sonic) with Mr. Bob... We rented a movie (Medea goes to jail)... It was hilarious!! Then off to bed... Got up early Saturday and got ready for Holiday House in Little Rock.... Mr. Bob came over and went with us.... It was crowed, but soooo much fun.... When we got finished we came home and spent the rest of the day just hanging out and playing with the girls..... This morning we were up early again (Thanks to Hayleigh Work) who doesn't believe in sleeping in on the weekends.... Mom and Mr. Bob went to church and me and the girls waited on Daddy to get home... When he got home, he got unloaded and then everyone went down for a much needed nap..... Supper was cereal and bedtime will come early tonight!!!

Has Been A Busy Few Weeks....

I haven't blogged in a while.... I'm going to get in trouble for that! We've been extra busy around our house... Last Thursday we went to Little Rock to watch Uncle Mike coach football. His team won and it was sooo exciting to watch those boys play ball!! MiMi came up and went with us too! The girls had a great time and got to see Uncle Mike. On the way to the car Hayleigh kept telling me that her stomach was hurting.. Me being the nurse, just shrugged it off and told her it would be okay... We are driving down the interstate and all of a sudden the exorcist was in the back seat! There was vomit everywhere and she couldn't stop and neither could we!! It was horrible! We kept on driving until we got home and then straight to the shower. She threw up most of the night and then I had to stay home with her the next day.... She felt horrible.... Dave and Hannah went to youth hunt in Locust... Hannah shot her first gun, but no deer.... She really had fun! It was just hard for her to keep her mouth shut!! That's a shocker, huh? We hung out the rest of the weekend and didn't do much... Dave and Hannah went to church on Sunday.... I kept Hayleigh home again.... Monday mom came and stayed with us... We were supposed to go watch Hannah sing in a program at school on Tuesday, but the exorcist struck again!!!!!!! Hannah started throwing up around 1o that night and threw up ALL night long... No one got any sleep and we had to change the bed in the middle of the night too! She stayed home with mom on Tuesday and that morning Dave took Hayleigh to Daycare so mom and Hannah could rest. I got a call before I even left for work!!!! Hayleigh got hit in the eye with a toy from some BRAT boy at school and busted her eye open again!!!! The same eye!!!!! I was sooooo mad I couldn't even think straight! I had to call my boss and then go pick up Hayleigh from daycare and take her to work with me... She had to have her eye glued because the cut was so deep! Dave met me up there and then took her on to the house with mom and Hannah so she could rest.... What a Day!!! Last night we crashed... I think we were in bed around 7pm.... No lie!!! Much needed though... Today was much better.. Hannah felt better and went to school and Hayleigh had no mishaps at daycare... Dave took them both this morning and I had the day off.... I got some chores done and then just kinda relaxed the rest of the day... Back to work tomorrow..... Mom will be back and is going to stay with us this weekend while Dave goes to Deer Camp..... It will just be us girls! No telling what trouble we will get into!!! Okay, we are all caught up!! I'll do better.. I promise...

We have had a great day... Got up early this morning and spent most of it cleaning the girls room.. Gosh I'm ready to get that carpet pulled up! They have ruined it.... We had corn dogs for lunch and then down for naps... When we got up we got dressed and went to TaMolly's for supper. Then off to East End to Trunk or Treat with Aunt JoJo and Uncle Jesse and Walker. The girls got a ton of candy and are all sugared up right now.. I'm ready to put them to bed. They dressed up as rock stars tonight and looked so cute. Tomorrow is church..... Have had a great Halloween!! Hope everyone else has too!

I'm sooo happy to see the weekend again!! No major plans either.. We are going to my sisters church to help them with their Trunk or Treat and to eat some deer chili... I'm excited to get to go play with Walker again too! I guess there is more candy in our future..Ugh..... Anyways today was busy busy again... We all dressed up for Halloween... I was a tongue depressor... Don't ask! Everyone looked sooo cute.. Thing one and Thing two and the cat in the hat was there too!!! We had a chili pot luck and some great desserts too... then back to work!! Dave picked the girls up and went to Wal-Mart for supper supplies... We had pepper turkey sandwiches and chips... Hannah's favorite.... The girls had fun today... Hannah won a basket full of surprises at school for red ribbon week!! She was so excited!! And Hayleigh had a Halloween Party and got to dress up in her cheerleader costume again.... She had her face painted and they got all kinds of goody bags to bring home.... We're gonna have candy in this house until kingdom comes!!! Anyways, off to bed... Another day of fun scheduled tomorrow!!! Goodnight

Trunk Or Treat 2009

We had our church Trunk or Treat last night and the girls had sooo much fun! Dave manned our trunk and me and the girls and Aunt JoJo and Walker walked around and got our candy... They also jumped in the blow up play houses. There was hot dogs and drinks too!! So many kids came out... Lots of fun, but it always is..... Today I was off and didn't do much do to the weather.... Just some chores around the house.... I picked the girls up early and we went to Family Dollar to get Hayleigh's Cheetos for her Halloween Party tomorrow. We came home to wait on Daddy..Him and Hannah are picking up supper right now (Sonic) and then in for the night....Looks like the weather isn't going to be very nice to us tonight...There was already as tornado in East Camden. It tore up some of the collage and fire academy.... Yuck... Hope everyone is fine down there... Here are some pics of last night for your viewing pleasure!

Today has been a busy day.. I went in to work expecting to be with Nancy as usual.. She had strep and was sent home, so I had to stay and do phone calls and research... Oh, well.... It really wasn't bad.... Got home a little early and we went to Hannah's Parent Teacher Conference.. She is doing really well in school. We are really proud of her.. She is excelling in reading and writing. Doing really well in math too... Just need to learn how to keep our mouth shut a little better! I guess that is her daddy coming out in her.... hahaha..... Anyways, when we were done we went to eat at Mcallister's... I had my favorite! Tortillia soup in a bread bowel... Yum... yum.... We are now at home watching Dirty Jobs and enjoying the rest of our night!! Almost bed time.....

Today has been another great day.... Church this morning and then Dave and the girls went to McDonald's for lunch... We had naps and then went and looked at a house for Nana and Mr. Bob. When we finished with that we came home and made deer chili for supper... It was sooo good! When we finished with supper we carved our pumpkin for Halloween... The girls had so much fun scooping out the Guts... Hayleigh kept calling it a pookin...HaHa.... She's so silly! Anyways, back to work tomorrow... Not looking forward to that..... Oh, well..... Today started off bumpy, but it all fell together great! I had to get up early this morning for work... Yuck! Dave and the girls had pancakes and took a trip to Family Dollar for more smell good stuff and cleaning supplies.. So, they worked around the house while I was gone. Got off around noon and stopped at Sonic for my lunch since Dave and the girls already had lunch(without me). Got home and spent a little time with them and then Aunt JoJo and Uncle Jesse, and Walker came by for a visit... It was so much fun playing with baby Walker and visiting with my sis and brother in law.... They are such a CUTE little family now!! When they left, put stinker down for a nap..aka Hayleigh.... and I took a little one myself... Mom came in around 4pm and Mr. Bob came over for supper.. Him and Dave went to Kroger for supper supplies and then made us French Dip sandwiches... Mmmmm.... Mmmmm...... Good..... We really enjoyed them! Visited for a little while... I also made a few new hair bows.... Then Dale called and we went and picked up some deer meat from their house and visited a little while with them too!! Mom and Bob watched the girls while we were gone... We came home and got our baths and now are getting ready for bed. Church tomorrow..... Goodnight....

Thank goodness it's Friday!! Today was busy and I'm glad it's over! Work, Work, Work..... Man.... Anyways, not much to report on... When I got off, I picked the girls up and Dave met me at the daycare. He and Hayleigh went to pick up supper (Little Cesar's) while me and Hannah went on home.... Then there has been this terrible stench in this house for the last few days and we haven't been able to find it... Well today was a bingo!! It was coming from Hannah's room.. Thanks to Hayleigh Grace and her food hiding abilities!!! She must have spilled a milk cup somewhere in the carpet! It was HORRIBLE!! So that is what we have spent most of our night doing...Cleaning the girls room and vacuuming and putting smell good stuff everywhere... Not exactly relaxing, but oh well.... What did I expect.... I have to work tomorrow, so off to bed early again for me.. and I'm welcoming it!!!! Goodnight from the Work Family....

Today has been a great day off! I couldn't have asked for a better day... A much needed one too... The girls went to school and daycare... Hannah had her field trip today to see the author Micheal Shoulders... She really enjoyed herself... Hayleigh was good today also.. Spent the day doing some chores and just enjoying the piece and quiet.... Even got some reading done. Dave picked the girls up from daycare and they went to Family dollar to pick up some essentials. Then home for supper. We had child dogs and chips.... Yummy.... We are now watching baseball on T.V. and Hannah is walking on her daddy's back per his request... Life is good! What more can I say?

Today was another busy day at work.... Nothing else to say there.... The girls had a good day at school and daycare.. Hannah had an author come to her school that writes children's books about Arkansas.. His name is Micheal Shoulders... Hannah got a book with his autograph! She was so excited! They are going on a field trip to hear him read one of his books tomorrow... Hayleigh was extra full of herself today Mrs. Angie said... Guess she was having a good day! We came home to roasted chicken,mashed potatoes, and mac and cheese. Everyone ate until they popped! Now we are getting ready for baths and then we are going to watch a new Dirty Jobs.. Mike will be in Arkansas catching snapping turtles.... Can't wait.... I'm off tomorrow and hope to get some things done then.... That's all for now!

Great Weekend Spent With Family...

This weekend has been GREAT!!! I was off Friday and spent the day shopping with my mom and Hayleigh... Dave went to Tunica on Thursday and didn't home until later Friday afternoon, so it was a couple of days with just us girls.... I got some clothes shopping done for winter stuff. Much needed with the weather getting cold and all...I'd say they are set for awhile... Anyways, had a great time getting that done and visiting with mom... Later, Friday night mom made pot roast and Mr. Bob came over and we ate together as a family... Good eating and great visiting... On Saturday we got up early and went to Pine Bluff to visit MiMi and PaPaw... We had a great time.. We went to the Pumpkin Patch in Grady, AR.... It was called Hardin Farms.. It was really neat! They had an old cabin set up and you could see how the pioneers lived back then... Also they climbed on the hay stack, and we rode a hay ride into the pumpkin patch and picked our pumpkins... After that, we ate at the restaurant there and then back to Pine Bluff... We visited a little while longer and then off to Bryant.. Mr. Bob and Dave made seafood gumbo for supper and it was soooo good... This morning we got up and went to church.. The girls looked sooo cute in their matching shirts... We went to Wal-Mart after church for a few things and then home for lunch (Taco Bell). Then down for Sunday afternoon naps.... My favorite! When we got up the girls and Dave were wrestling in the living room and some how Hannah pushed Hayleigh into the entertainment center and she busted her eye wide open!! So, yep, you guessed it! We spent the afternoon in the ER! She had to get her eye glued. It was a pretty good cut.. She looks like she has been in a prize fight!! That girl!! I don't know what we are gonna do with her!!! So, we are now at home and getting ready for baths and bed..... Long but pretty good weekend......

I'm so happy that this week is over! We have had a busy one. The girls were busy with school and extra activities... Hannah had batting practice on Tuesday night and we were supposed to have games tomorrow, but they have been rained out.... So, Fall Ball is officially over..... That was fast! Anyways, we are getting ready to go to Larry's Pizza for a little party for the softball players on the team... I'm not really wanting to go, but I guess I have no choice.... Mom will be up tomorrow and we are going to the State Fair. It will be Hayleigh's first time.. I just know she will love it.... Hope everyone has a great weekend, and hopefully a dry one too!

Today has been a good day... A busy one, but a good one... It's kinda been a gloomy day... The rain has finally started to come down, so it will be a great night for sleeping... The girls had a good day... When I got off work I met Dave and the girls up at the batting cages so Hannah could practice a little with some of the other girls from the team.... When we got done with that we went over to TaMolly's for dinner with the Washington's.... It was a nice time of visiting... We are now home and baths have been taken and we are now getting ready for bed.... Grey's Anatomy is on and I'm gonna watch it without any interruptions....( Hopefully).... It's not even winter yet, and the clinic is busier than it's ever been.... I really don't know how our attitudes and bodies are going to make it! We've been so busy with calls and people getting swine flu and worrying about swine flu.... I know that we will make it, but right now it's hard to see a silver lining... Gonna keep my head up high and my mouth shut!!! And I'll get through it! The girls have been great... Hannah had softball practice last night and me and Hayleigh hung out at the house... Nothing going on tonight... We had sloppy joes for supper and watched The Wizard Of Oz.. The girls LOVE that movie!! Who knew? Going to bed now.. That's the only thing that makes me happy right now!! Haha.....

The weekends never last long enough.... But the weeks sure do! I've been down with the flu since Wednesday afternoon... Not a fun thing... I spent the day in bed Thursday and Friday... Everytime I moved I would sweat and just get sooo tired..... I ran fever some but all in all I made it through.... I hope the we are done with this in our house... Hope Dave and Hannah stay clear of it.... Anyways, Saturday was spent at the ball park. Hannah had a double header to play.. We won our first game and lost the second one.. Hannah did sooo good.. She hit the ball each time she was up to bat... Her fielding could use some work... but she's still got a lot to learn... We then went to TaMolly's for supper and then home for baths and we were all in bed my 8pm that night. Wore slap out~ This morning we were up and ready for church... After that, we went to McDonald's for lunch and then home for chores and much needed naps... We went to Wal-Mart to get stuff for supper and some jeans for the girls and then came home and cooked supper together... We had Taco soup and it was awesome!! I can tell you we will eat that for supper tomorrow too!!! Well that's it from the Work House for now! I'll do better about writing and putting more pics up of the girls!!! Been busy and sick...... Don't want anymore of that!

Today was spent with Hayleigh at home again... Me and Dave are taking turns being off with her since she has Flu A... She has been sick since last Thursday... She will spend the rest of this week home too just in case.... My mom will be back tomorrow and will keep her.... She was really sick this morning but is acting like she feel somewhat better tonight... Only that she is going stir crazy and is REALLY fussy! I can't do anything right....Tomorrow is back to work for me and it will be a welcome relief from this! Anyways, Hannah is at ball practice with Dave and they should be back soon... Hayleigh is in her room right now crying because the Mighty B is on and not ICarly.. Not much else going on around here....

Today has been a looong busy day....Hannah had her first game of the fall ball season at 9am... So, they were off bright and early this morning.... They lost both of their games.. The teams they played today were 2 year teams and we are only a first year team. But they had fun and tried their best and that is all that matters.... More games to come next Saturday.... After the games then they had a birthday party to go too... Me and Hayleigh had to stay home all day due to her still being sick.... I wish she would hurry up and get better all ready.... I hate it when my kids are sick.... Anyways, Dale brought Hannah home after the party and Dave went to cook chili at the church... Mom and her friend Mr. Bob ate visited for awhile and ate chili with us tonight... Another rainy day in Arkansas..... We are all gonna be under water soon I think... I was off today and spent most of it at home.. Made some bows, went to Wal-Mart, and waited on my family to get home... We had chicken and rice for supper and have been watching T.V. ever since.. Today has been a wet, yucky Monday..... Work has been crazy busy and today wasn't much better. The girls had a great day today..... Hannah has school pictures tomorrow and then cheer camp with the Bryant Cheerleaders after school.... She will be nice and wore out when she gets home.... Not to mention it's homework night too.... Hayleigh has been too cute today.. She always has something funny to say to make me and Dave laugh.... We had turkey sandwiches for supper and I made a few more bows... Then I needed to return my library books, so we all rode up there and the girls got to drop the books in the drop off box.... They thought they were big stuff.. That's all for tonight....... Boring... I know!! hahaha...... Also, On a sad note... One of my favorite actors Patrick Swayze passed away today at the age of 57 from Pancreatic cancer.. RIP Patrick! I'll always love Dirty Dancing!!! My favorite movie of ALL time....

Happy Grandparents Day!! I've been neglecting my blog, so this is for you NeNaw!! I've found a new hobby.. I've been making hairbows and they have been taking up much of my time... I promise I'll do better with the blog now.... Hannah and Hayleigh have been great... We've been having lots of softball practices, but everytime a game comes up we get rained out.. So still waiting on our first Fall Ball game! Hannah will also we going to cheer camp this week and she will get to cheer at a Bryant Hornet game on this Friday with the big cheerleaders.. She hasn't missed a year since she's been old enough to do it~ Also school pics are this Tuesday.. What to wear, what to wear... that is the question.... Hmmm... what else is going on at the Work home? Not much... Gonna be a busy, wet week looks like...... Well, here is some pics of the hairbows I've been making.. Today was another great one...Didn't do much... Mom fixed soup for lunch and then her and Hayleigh left for Hampton. They will be gone until Thursday... I'm gonna miss that little toot... Anyways, Dave and Hannah went to Wal-Mart to get a few things and then we hung out and watched T.V. for a little bit... Then it was off to softball practice... I actually got to go this time because Hayleigh wasn't here... The girls are doing really good with their hitting and the fielding is coming along nicely too.... Today I could have stayed in bed! I've been sooo tired all day long... No amount of caffeine could keep me pepped up.... Work was busy as usual.. My beautiful, most wonderful little nephew came and saw his Aunt Shannon at work today... I love that little boy! (OH and my sister came too!hahaha...) He his soooo sweet.... He didn't pee on me today, but he did manage to spit up on me!! He's gonna get me one way or another.... I went and picked the girls up after work and Dave came home early and mowed the lawn... We had spaghetti for supper and thanks to Mrs. Jenny it was awesome.. She made the spaghetti sauce..... mmmmm.... mmm.... good... Baths were done early and then me and Hannah sat at the table and made hairbows for a little while.. I forgot how much fun that was!! We made some really cute ones..... Now I'm off to bed. Hannah had her first practice game of the fall ball season tonight! I'm proud of my girls.. They've got some fielding work to do, but boy they make up for it in hitting those balls! They were stroking them tonight.. We only lost 9-10.... They really looked good tonight.. Gonna have some tough competition in Fall ball, but that's alright... Can't win them all... But boy can we try!! Haha.. Hannah went 3 for 3 and got some runners in... She really hit her last ball HARD.. Guess that finger is feeling better.... Me and Hayleigh were in the stands cheering the girls on! It really was a nice night out...Work was super busy today... I think Winter has come early!!! Dreading that.. Anyways.... Today has been a beautiful, great day! We got up this morning and got dressed for church.. Me and Dave went to Sunday School and then we had Nursery duty.... We had the 3 year old class for Wee Worship... It was really fun except for this one little boy that was sooo disrespectful to the adults.. I really wanted to take him into the bathroom and spank his butt, but he wasn't my kid, sooo I could only think about it! Atleast my children know how to act around other adults... I bet he gets away with everything at his house.... Defiantly a parenting thing... They are to blame to for his behavior... Makes me not want to EVER do Wee Worship again!! Anyways, got home from church and had Sunday pot roast and mashed potatoes... Soooo good... Then naps... And I've been farming on Farmville some this afternoon.. My new obsession..... BAD!! Today has been a great one... We slept in some and then got up and did some chores... I had to supervise the girls in picking up their room and the way that room looked it took half the morning.. While we were busy doing that, Dave went grocery shopping at Wal-Mart.. That was sorely needed too! Then it was afternoon naps... When the girls got up, we got dressed and went to Dale and Shanna's for supper and some Farmville fun.. Yep, we're addicted... Anyways, we had burgers on the grill, hot dogs, and my favorite.. Cheese Dip!! It was sooo good. We had fun visiting and the girls had a blast playing with their buddies.... We just got home and are getting ready for bed..... Tomorrow is church and who knows what else....

The girls must have woke up with extra energy today... Because they haven't stopped all day long!!! They both have been energizer bunnies.. They had a good day at school and daycare.. Nobody got in trouble and that is ALWAYS a good thing... Dave picked the girls up from daycare after work and I met them at home when I got off... They were all camped out in front of the the T.V. when I walked in.... We had baked french fries and chicken nuggets... The girls favorite.. Not mine so much... Oh, well.... good thing I wasn't so hungry tonight... I can tell you if they ever settle down long enough they will both crash!! They are being so loud in Hannah's room right now laughing and hitting the wall... There is no telling what they are doing in there!!! Well, baths and bed REALLY REALLY soon..... Goodnight....

We're Almost Healed!!

Today I was off.....Surprise for me..... I spent the day doing some cleaning and me and the cat hung out.... Dave took both the girls to daycare and school.... Around 2:30pm I went and picked Hannah up from school and we headed to Ortho Arkansas for her Dr.'s Appointment. Dave met us up there so he could ask the Dr. all of the Important questions ( Softball) haha.... She checked out great... They x-rayed her finger again and the Doc said it was healing fine... We aren't all the way healed but getting there. She doesn't have to wear her splint anymore.. Just buddy taping the fingers together.... So, recheck in a 2 weeks and all is looking good. Also, before I forget Hayleigh obviously punched some poor kid in the face today at school... I guess they won't mess with her anymore!! I hate that she did it, but I'm glad that she knows how to defend herself.... She wouldn't just DO that unless she felt threatened..So, I'm to too worried about it.... We came home for a little bit and then went and ate supper at TaMolly's.. I never get tired of those chicken nachos... Yummm.... Yumm...... We are now settling down for the night and getting ready for beddy bye.......

Wow.... Where did the weekend go? We've had a great one though.... Today was spent together as a family.... Church this morning and then naps as usual..... This family can't function without them... Good Food With Family And Friends...

Today I had to work!! Blah.... It really was a good day though.. Not to busy... Not to slow... Mom came down yesterday and will be here a few days... I came home and we all took naps because I was exhausted.. Didn't sleep well the night before... Anyways, got up and we cleaned some and then we just kinda visited with each other.... Got supper ready.... We had steaks, grilled corn on the cob, a mushroom sauce, grilled snapper and baked potatoes... We also had banana pudding for dessert... So needless to say we are all miserably full right now... Also we got a security system installed in the house today.. I've always wanted one and today we got it for FREE! All we had to agree to was putting a little sign out in our yard letting everyone know who protects our house! What a deal... We just pay a small monthly fee.... Very cool.... Today started off wet.... I thought it would never stop raining... I guess we needed it though... Hannah had another good day at school, but got her first note sent home... 2nd day of school and already a note!!! She got caught talking in the hall, which they are obviously not supposed to do for some reason... I asked her why she was talking and she told me this other girl was talking to her and she wanted to be her friend.... Anyways, this year they have to write their own note home and we have to sign it.... Hopefully this will be a lesson and we won't get another one for awhile...She's just like her daddy.... Can't keep that mouth shut... HaHa..... We gave her a good talking too and took T.V. privlages away tonight and if she gets another note soon she won't be able to play softball.... Hayleigh had a good day... They told me when I picked her up that she was trying to comfort another little boy today during nap... That's my little nurturer.... RIGHT! We gave Taylor a bath tonight and he looks so funny!! He's an afro cat right now!! But atleast he smells good... Supper was chicken and rice and now that our bellys are full it's bedtime.... Today was Hannah's first day of school!! We got up early this morning and put on all of our new clothes and shoes and was looking spiffy for our first day! She said she had a great day and that her teacher only gave her one worksheet all day! She was excited about that!! Hayleigh had to ride with me this morning and that kinda threw her for a loop... She's been riding with Dave all summer since her and her sister go to the same daycare... She didn't understand where Hannah was, so I had to tell her like a hundred times!!! Work was SLOW today... No one is sick yet.... but give it time! When I got off I came home and we ate really fast and got in the car and went to see baby Walker who is now home and doing great!! The girls loved holding and kissing him... We took some cute pics of him too.... I'm soooo happy that he is home,and I am soooo in LOVE...He will pretty much get whatever he asks for from me... I will be a sucker.... Sorry Jo... HaHa.... Anyways, can't wait to see him again... I believe I was a baby hog because no one else got to hold him while I was there.. oops...... Goodnight....

School Starts Tomorrow!! What???

Today was my day off... And I nice and quiet one it was.... The girls went to daycare... It was Hannah's last day day of summer fun... They had a Ice Cream Float Party... Hayleigh had another good day also.... I spent half of the day doing some laundry and the other half fighting the crowd at Target and Old Navy for some last minute clothes for Hannah's first day of 2nd grade tomorrow.... I think she's excited... I'm not excited about that stupid traffic that's gonna be on the road tomorrow!! Oh, well... Me and Hayleigh will have to fight that together.... I can't believe school is already starting... They just got out for the summer!!! All I can think about is the illnesses that will be rolling around and making the clinic super busy again... I HATE winter's at the clinic... HATE!!!!! No use in dwelling on it now..... It's coming and there's no stopping it... So, I'm wishing everyone luck on their first days of school and hope all goes well..... Will post pics tomorrow of my little 2nd grader... Gosh that's hard to say!! I really wish that I liked Mondays..... But I just can't make myself! Today was busy, busy.... Went to Treadway with Shanna to eat with our husbands.... That was nice... I guess! HaHa.... The girls were good today.... Hannah went bowling at daycare.... The days are ticking bye and school will be here VERY soon..... I think she's excited.... We went to open house at Hurricane Creek tonight and met her teacher Mrs. McNaulty... Very nice lady.... Hannah's Baptism....

Today was a very special day..... Hannah was baptized in front of her church family and family and friends.... I can tell you I've never been so proud of her... I told her right before she went up that this would be the most important thing that she would ever do in her life..... It makes me think that just maybe... me and Dave are doing something right..... We had a lot of family come down... MiMi, PaPaw, NeNaw, Nana Dianna, Nana Carolyn, Uncle Micheal, Aunt Bridgette, BabyJake (still one word, hahaha), Aunt Betty, Robin, and Mr. Bob.... We went out to eat at the Catfish Barn afterwards and got to visit awhile before everyone went home.... When we got home we took some much needed naps and haven't done much else.... What a great day to do nothing!! Got up this morning and we ate our cereal... The girls picked their room up and me and Dave did some chores around the house... Dave got the grass mowed also.... We had lunch (McDonald's) and then down for naps... When we got up, we played with the girls and then Daddy went to Wal-Mart for groceries.... We knew it would be crowded it being the weekend before school starts so we let him go so it would be quicker.... We had steaks for supper and we are now watching some T.V. and getting ready for in the morning... Hannah is being baptized!! I'm so proud of her... Some family is coming in to watch and then I'm sure we will go eat afterwards....

Hannah had popcorn and a movie at daycare.....Me, Nancy, Shanna, and Leann went to eat at Casa Mexicana for lunch and then back for more work.. My husband decided to go visit MY nephew this morning at UAMS, and that skunk got to hold him before me!!!! Boy, he's in trouble!! HaHa.... All he could tell me was that he was sooo cute and sooo small.... I've never been so jealous..... Oh, Well... I'll get my turn.....Anyways, the girls had fun today at daycare... They had the water carnival all day today.... Hannah's not going to know what hit her when she actually has to go back to school!!! I'm still sick with an ear infection and sorethroat.... Wish that would go away! Atleast tomorrow is Friday!! That's a plus..... No big plans for the weekend until Sunday when Hannah gets Baptised..... What a special day that will be.... Well, supper was tater tot casserole and it was awesome...... We are now watching T.V. and winding down for the night....

Today was my day off and I didn't move from my bed most of it..... Sorethroat, headache, fever, can't breath, coughing.... Did I leave anything out??? It's not even winter yet!! Anyways, Dave took the girls to daycare and picked them up today... Hannah had movies and popcorn today... Hayleigh is full of herself as usual also.... HaHa.... I did manage to muster enough strength to go to Shoe Carnival to pick up Hannah's back to school shoes... They were having a sale that is fixing to end, so I had to go... By one get one half off... I do that each year and buy her 2 pairs of Nike's to last all year.... Pretty good steal.. Anyways, I'm off to bed.. Can't seem to stay out of it today... Also good news, I got a text from Jodie last night and Walker is off of his Oxygen!!! Hopes and prayers that he keeps improving this week and will be home with all of us REAL soon... Today has been a busy one.... The girls had fun at daycare... Hannah got to go to Mill's park and play and then they went and got Wendy's Frostys... I'm jealous.... Me and Shanna went to TaMolly's for lunch today and the nachos were awsome as usual... I haven't really felt well today.. My throat has been killing me and I've had a low grade temp.. Hope it's not turning into anything... Dave picked the girls up after work and was already home by the time I got there.. The guys came and finished our can lights so the whole house is LIT up!! Looks good... Dave and Hannah had to go to softball practice, but she had to sit out because of her finger.... She hated it Dave said.... Oh well..... Supper was Zaxby's and I'm tired of eating OUT!!! We are getting ready for baths and bed and as usual I can't wait.....

Another Sad Day In Our Family....

Today was a very sad one in our family.... Little Eli went to be with the Lord... We went to his funeral at 2pm and it was a beautiful ceremony...My sister and brother-in-law were the 2 most strongest and bravest people I've ever known.... I really don't know if I could go through that and be that strong....My heart goes out to them tonight.... I love you guys... Even now I find it to hard to talk about.... Maybe more thoughts on it later..... Me and Dave both went in to work this morning and worked half days... My mom brought Hannah up to the clinic this morning and we x-rayed her finger.. It is BROKE!!! She went right on over to her Ortho Dr. and he splinted it.. She will have to wear it for 3 weeks until her next appointment.. And that also means no softball for that time... She is pretty upset about it, but we have to do what the Doc says..... So, my toe and her finger..... Who would have thought it? Anyways please continue to lift my family up in your prayers..... Thank you....

Not much going on today at the Work house.... Dave and Hannah went to church this morning and me and Hayleigh hung out here.... When they got home we ate lunch and then Shanna came over and we went to UAMS to see Walker and Jodie...He is soooo cute!!! When we got home Dave went to mow Jodie and Jesse's yard and then he went and picked him up something to eat.. Me, mom, and Hayleigh went to Wal-Mart to exchange shoes and then we picked us up some supper (taco bell).. Hannah has been at a friend's house since this afternoon and will be home soon.... She hurt her finger in softball practice Friday night and didn't tell us until yesterday... So, I'm gonna have to get that checked out tomorrow.... Also, we are having Eli's funeral tomorrow at 2pm in Sardis.... Please keep my family in your prayers in this time of need...... Thank you....

Eli's In His Heavenly Father's Arms.....

This is a post from Eli's grandmother on Facebook... She said it the best.......

Our precious Eli went to our Lord at 2:50 a.m. this morning, August 8th. Although we are heartbroken, we're comforted in the knowledge that he will live on through others. Arora was contacted and Eli's heart valves will be used to potentially save the lives of two other children here in Arkansas. Thank you all for your love and support.

Today has been a good day spent at home.... Of course we got the horrible but expected news of Eli's passing this morning... I have found comfort knowing that he isn't suffering any more and he is finally in Our Father's Arms... We took the girls to get their hair cut this morning and they bot look soooo cute... We've just kinda hung out the rest of the day.... Naps and cleaning and that's about the extent of the day.... Don't know what we are gonna do for supper, but I'm hoping it's steaks.... Hope everyone has a great rest of the day... Here is a little picture of Eli.. He really was a beautiful baby.....

I'd be lying if I told you this week has been a great one... It was supposed to be.... We started out the week sooo excited that our nephews had finally arrived... Then we found out all of the horrible news about Eli and even Walker not being just 100%. I don't understand why Jodie and Jesse have to go through this... On one hand we want to be excited about the birth and well being of Walker, and then on the other hand we have to grieve over our beautiful baby Eli not being healthy enough to live.... Not a great place to be in.... My prayers are with my sister and her husband tonight as they are with both of their babies at UAMS... They got to put the twins together and be together as a family today... What a wonderful thing that is..... Eli was taken off of the vent around 8pm last night but has managed to breath on his own all day today... I don't have any updates because we wanted to let Jesse and Jodie have some rest today that is much needed but I'm sure I'll talk with her tomorrow and go and see them I hope.... I hope everyone has a blessed weekend..... Goodnight for now.....

News from our house today wasn't to interesting.... Hannah got to have a water slide carnival today and she soooo much fun... Hayleigh has been battling a cold for most of the week... She doesn't act like she feels bad, though.... Work was busy again today... I guess we're picking up.... David picked the girls up from daycare and came home.... We had sandwiches for supper and then Dave and Hannah went to softball practice.. Me and Hayleigh are hanging out... She's in her room watching Dora the Explorer..... Just waiting on the crew to get back.... Nothing special going on around here.... Hopefully bed isn't too far away....

I was off today and sent the girls on to daycare. Hannah went skating.... Around 1pm me and Dave went up to Arkansas Children's Hospital to see Jesse,Jodie, and Eli.... They had him in a little room so that family could be with him today.... It was really hard seeing him like that and holding all together... He truly is a beautiful baby.... They will be taking him off of life support some time tonight after his baby dedication... Me and Dave couldn't stay for that,because we had to go pick up the girls on time but I can't help but feel like we should be there.... Jodie and Jesse, you guys are in my prayers and I love you guys deeply... Just not a good time in my family right now... What should be a happy time is now a time of sorrow..... But I know that we will get through this.... Anyways, don't feel like blogging much tonight......... I'll update with more info later....

A Difficult Day....

Today started off great... Work was busy... Went to Target with Shanna at lunch to look around... The girls had a good day at daycare... Hannah was supposed to have water slide carnival but the rain prevented that, so they watched a movie instead.... Mom picked the girls up and me and Dave had plans to go visit my sister and my nephews but got really bad news about Eli... They found out today that Eli's brain didn't fully develop and he will not have any quality of life..So, they have decided to take him off of life support and donate his organs to ARORA... What a horrible thing for Jodie and Jesse to have to go through.... He will truly be missed by his family and we will think about him always.... Walker scared us too last night... He had an air sac burst in in lung and had to have a chest tube placed.. But I believe he is doing better today with that... So please keep my family in your prayers because Jesse and Jodie are really going to have a tough time ahead of them and will need it....Thank you all..... More updates later......

Today has been a good day.... Work was busy with check ups..... Went to the library with Nancy today and checked out some more books.... Jodie and the boys are doing well.. I can't wait to see them tomorrow.... Hannah went to the movies at daycare today.... Mom came in today and will be here a few days.... I picked up the girls after work and Dave went and got supper (zaxby's) and then him and Hannah went to the first softball practice of the fall ball season.... They haven't gotten back from that yet.. Mom just went to Sonic to get shakes and then we will be getting baths soon.... I'm really ready to get my foot up for the night.... Here is the post that I posted on Jodie's blog.... I thought it would go great over here too.....

This is Shannon, Jodie's big sister blogging for her tonight... Oh Boy! What a day... What started out as her routine Dr's visit this morning turned into an ALL day thing!! She was in labor this morning and already dilated to a 4... She was sent over to UAMS labor and delivery and the boys decided to come and meet there family via C-section around 5pm.... I don't have all off their measurements or weights, or Pictures just yet because everything has been such a blur.... Tomorrow for sure those will be posted.. Babies, mom, and daddy are doing fine...... Walker had a little trouble breathing so his is resting in the NICU at UAMS in his on little room for the night just so they can watch him a little more closely... Eli was transported toArkansas Children's Hospital shortly after birth so that they could get started on his shunt surgery and evaluate what to do next with his spina bifida... It looks like the spina bifida in higher up on his spine than we would like, but the good news is that he is breathing on his on with a little help and his color was nice and rosy.... So, we'll let you guys know more when we do... Just please keep Jodie and Jesse and the boys in your thoughts and prayers over the next few days while they adjust to parenthood and also dealing with Eli's special needs.... I can tell you, I only caught a glance of them both.... But I am deeply and utterly in LOVE already.... Get ready to be spoiled boys, because your Aunt Shannon is going to do alot of it....... Another Great Day Spent At Home....

Today was another great day at home.... We got up this morning and instead of going to church Dave went to Wal-Mart to get a few things... I didn't feel like going this morning anyways... I didn't want to show everyone my UGLY boot! We did some chores and Dave took the pool down.. It was sooo sad to see it go! We've had lots of fun in that pool this summer.... We took our naps and when the girls got up Dave took them over to a friend's house to play for awhile... When they got home from that, we went over to Dale and Shanna's to see their new addition to their house.. They are building a dining room and it looks good so far!! I'm jealous..... We just got home from that and my foot is throbbing! We are having steaks for supper and then no plans the rest of the night!!

It has rained ALL day.... We got up this morning and Dave made us french toast.... Thanks Daddy! Me and Dave tackled the laundry and the walk-in closet... That took a little while to get all of that in order... After that I took a pain pill and went back to bed..... My foot has really been hurting... Not that I thought it would feel much, but it's good to think positive!! Anyways, when I got up we went to Sports Authority in Little Rock to get Hannah a new glove for softball... We couldn't find her a new bat, so we are still looking for the right one... We picked up supper (Sonic) on the way home and just got our baths... It will soon be bed time and I'm ready to pop me a few more pain killers and go off to sleepy without feeling my toe throb...... Goodnight.....

Well, the verdict is in..... I broke my toe in 2 places.... I did it well.... I went to my Ortho Dr. today and he put me in a boot for 2 weeks and then I'll have to get it checked out again.... It hurts sooooo bad.... I've got some pain meds, but I'm not gonna take them until bed time... Anyways, Hannah had pizza and a movie today at daycare... Hayleigh is getting a cold.. Her little nose has been running all day.... I picked the girls up after work, and me Dave there at the daycare... He took Hannah with him and they went and picked up my medications and then they went to Wal-Mart to get Hannah a new helmet for softball.... I love it!! It's so red and sharp looking... We are having chicken and rice for supper and then I'm thinking I'm going to go to bed... I've just about have had enough today!! I'm ready for my toe and foot to stop hurting... Hope everyone has a great weekend.,,,,

I Think My Toe Is Broke!!

Today I was off.... The girls went to daycare and Hannah went skating with her class... I was getting ready for a trip to Wal-Mart for school supplies and I was dressed. While I was putting my pants on, I stomped my toe on the side of the bed!! I knew it was bad when I had to lay down for a minute because it hurt soooo bad I thought I was gonna puke.... When it didn't feel better an hour later, I figured that I had did more than stomp it... I'm pretty sure it's broke, even though I've never broken a bone before... It's so purple and swollen.... And not to mention deformed..... So, I guess I'll have that checked out at work tomorrow... I don't know if you can even do anything for a toe... I'm beginning to loose some feeling in the tip of it though..... That's probably not good.... My LUCK!!!!! Anyways, I did go to Wal-Mart... I limped the whole way....
I did however get all of Hannah's school supplies bought today.... I worked through the PAIN!! I'm now sick to my stomach, so I skipped supper tonight... Dave picked up the girls from daycare and we went to the batting cages for our first REAL lesson with the professionals there.. All of the girls did sooo good tonight!! I'm sure they will just keep on improving.... I'm proud of my girls... We are now at home and I've got my foot propped up because I don't know what else to do with it.... I would love to just cut it off..... I'm off to get baths and get ready for bed....

Half of the week is over.... We've made it! Today was pretty good... Busy at work again... I like that! The girls had fun at daycare today... Hannah got to tye-dye a shirt for arts and crafts... Got home around 5pm... Dave and the girls went to Family Dollar to pick up some milk and a hair brush... We have lost our good one, so needed a soft one so the girls wouldn't scream every time we tried to brush their hair... David didn't want to buy one... He said "yea, right, me buying a hair brush... That looks right, don't it?" HaHa.... For everyone that doesn't know David, he has been bald a LONG time... So I guess it is funny!!! We had cereal for supper tonight... Nobody was really hungry for anything..... We are now doing our nightly routine...... Goodnight....

It was raining when I woke up EARLY this morning...Kinda a pretense to the rest of the day... Well, it wasn't that bad!!! Work was busy with crazy stuff... We had to see sick patients this morning and me and Nancy are rusty..... We had a t-shirt design contest at work, and our team WON!! Thanks team captain Shanna!! So, our design will be put on a shirt and we will all get to wear them.... They also fed us Larry's pizza for lunch... Yumm..... Picked the girls up from daycare after work... Dave and Hayleigh went to Little Ceaser's and we had PIZZA again for supper.... Dave and Hannah are going to the first softball meeting of the fall season... They will be back in a little while..... Softball time again!! yeah!!!!!! Anyways, hope everyone has a great night. Hope tomorrow is better for me!!

Well, I've never been a fan of Mondays.. I really don't know anyone who is! Today was okay at work. A little slow for my taste, be we made it through.... Hannah went swimming at daycare today.... Hayleigh also had a good day.... Dave picked the girls up after work and had already made it home before I got off this afternoon.. Mom went home around noon today.. The girls already miss her.... We cooked hamaburger helper for supper and also corn and carrots... Too good.... I LOVE hamburger helper... Dave just ran up to Family Dollor to pick up some cat food.. I know the Cat is happy about that! The rain is coming, just don't know when it's gonna get here.. It's looking like we're going to have a wet week ahead of us.... Well, getting ready for baths and bed, and like always I'm ready!!!

Today we got up and got ready for church.... Hannah got to go up in front of church and let her church family know that she asked Jesus into her heart.... She was so excited about doing that! We went to eat at Ruby Tuesday's for lunch. I had the crab cakes and they were excellent..... Then back home for naps... When we got up we played Barbies for a little while. Supper will be pot roast, mashed potatoes, and mac and cheese... Can't wait! Back to work tomorrow... Yuck! Weekends never last long enough.....

Today has been a great day spent with family... We got up this morning and Dave made pancakes. Thank's Dad! Then mom took the girls to Old Navy to get Hannah's backpack and lunch box.. She picked out a purple one with silver stars on it... While they were doing that, me and Dave went out to eat for lunch (TaMolly's) and then to Wal-Mart for a few things.. We met mom in the Old Navy parking lot and took Hayleigh back with us and then her and Hannah went to to watch G-Force the Movie... We came home and took much needed naps until they got back. We cooked spagetti for supper.... It was sooo good... And then an after supper swim.. We are now sitting here watching T.V. until we start getting ready for bed.... Tomorrow will be church and who knows what else.... Goodnight....

Yeah!! Today if Friday and I couldn't be happier!! Today was a good one at work... Just busy enough to make the day pass fast... I needed that too.... I've been soooo sleepy!! Matter of fact, I could go to bed right now! We went to Mazzio's for lunch today to support one of the local baseball teams... I forgot how good Mazzio's is... I really enjoyed it! Dave picked the girls up early and brought them to the clinic for Hannah's 7yr check-up... She's doing great.... Growing just how she should... She got the second hepatitis A shot and was sooo brave... Didn't even cry... She's getting so big.... When we got done there, I took the girls home with me and Dave went to Wal-Mart to get some stuff for supper... We had turkey burgers and cheese dip... Yummm..... We are now getting baths and settling down for the night.....

I've been dragging all day! I didn't sleep well last night because I was still sick... Got up this morning and got the girls ready for school... Dave forgot to get Hayleigh's swim suit for Water Stretch-N-Grow, so I had to run that by before going into work.... Work was busy, but had slow parts to the day... Made it last along time. Me and Shanna went to lunch in Benton today (Popeye's) and then to Wal-Mart to get stuff for our T-Shirt contest... Mom came in today and will be here a few days. I picked the girls up from school and came on home... Dave got supper (Burger King), and then off to the batting cages for some practice with the girls. They had lots of fun but it was really hot in there! We are now home and getting ready for baths and bed... I can't wait for the bed part....

I had the day off today, and boy was it good timing... I haven't moved from the bed much at all... I've had chills, been hot, and have had a serious headache and neck pain.... I don't know what in the world has been wrong with me... But I know I'm ready to feel better soon... The girls had fun today... Hannah had Water Slide and Hayleigh had a day of camping at daycare... She got to bring her sleeping bag and flash light... She was really excited... Dave cooked supper tonight when he got home with the girls.. I had to pass on that!! They had fish sticks, peas,and mac and cheese... Tomorrow my mom is coming in for a couple of days... Dave and Hannah have ran up to Wal-Mart to get her some hitting gloves for practice and then they are going to the church to talk to Brother Tom... Hannah wants to ask the Lord into her heart! My heart is swollen with pride right now... My little girl is growing up and taking a wonderful and very special step towards her life with Christ... It means me and Dave are doing something right as parents... Me and Hayleigh are just hanging out watching T.V.... Hope everyone has a great night....

Today started out fine... Dave took the girls to daycare and I went in to work. Later in the morning I started feeling a burning in my stomach, headache, achy muscles, and some nausea... I just didn't feel right.... Needless to say, I still feel pretty bad. I picked the girls up when I got off work, and I have been on the couch since.... I'm a little mad at Dave right now, because he had some softball meeting tonight and told me he wouldn't be long... But we all know when talking is involved it ALWAYS is longer than he says... I just wanted to come home and go to bed, and I couldn't...... So, I'm STILL up, and waiting for my time to go to bed..... Hannah went to the movies today and saw Barnyard.... Hayleigh gets to bring her sleeping bag and a flash light tomorrow to daycare.. They are camping out! She's excited... Okay, I'm done in, Going to Bed!! Goodnight.... Today was back to work for me... And I'll have to tell you, that I pulled into work this morning and there was this Huge rainbow right over the CAPC building!! Now if that doesn't tell you you're gonna have a good day then what will??? It made me fill better, anyways... Today was busy, but fine... Hannah went bowling today at daycare... Hayleigh also had a good day at pooh bear class... When I got off work I picked the girls up and met Dave at home... We had chicken and rice for supper... Delish!! The girls wanted pizza rolls, not so delish!! We are now watching the girls play Wii fit... And laughing our butts off!!!! Hayleigh is Hilarious.... Soon will be bed time... Can't wait!

Got up this morning and got ready for church... The girls looked sooo cute in their little dresses... After church, we went to TaMolly's for lunch.. We had the chicken nachos and they were to DIE for.... I'm hooked on them now.... We came home and took naps, and did some laundry... After everyone got up we went to Wal-Mart to grocery shop.... Got home and had steaks and potatoes for supper.. Yum, Yum.... Back to work tomorrow and I'm not excited about that at ALL! I've been off for 2 weeks and I could be off another 2 wks.... HaHa...
