Another Night At The Ball Park

Well, today was a good day all in all... Mom stayed another day so she could take Hannah to her Derm appt. Hannah did real well, but they had to burn quite a few more warts off of her hands. She fainted in the Dr's office and gave her Nana a scare! She's all right, but she went on home instead of going to school because it kinda wore her out.... She was feeling better towards the end of the day... Hayleigh had a great day at TLC.... She has been her usual spunky self.... When I got home from work, I met Dave at home and we got Hannah dressed for her softball game tonight.. I was going to keep her home, but she begged and cried so we gave in and told her if her hands started hurting during the game that she would have to sit out.. She was a trooper!! She played the whole game and never complained one time.. We had to drive to Salem tonight to play at their ball field..Not as nice as ours, but it had to do... We played the Dirt Devils.. We lost our game 7-10.. So we can't complain... They really played good tonight, but the other team were better hitters..... Hannah got a double her first time up to bat and struck out her second time up.. I was so proud of her! I can't say that enough.... We don't even have to think softball atleast until Saturday when we have practice.. I can't wait to come home tomorrow after work and do NOTHING!!!! My mom is going home in the morning and I know the girls will hate that!!! Goodnight all!! I'll get some pics of Hannah's next game up...I've been lazy with the camera!!

Go Dirt Diamonds!!!

The girls had their first game of the season tonight... They played the 8pm game!! I do not want to do that again!!!! It doesn't agree with Hayleigh!! She's on a time schedule and anything past 9pm and she's not having it... Anyways, the girls did great tonight!! They played the Little Sparks and won 13-1.. I was soooo proud of Hannah... She hit the ball each time she was at bat... All the girls did wonderful!!!! Our little team is coming together pretty nicely.... They play again tomorrow night in Salem against the Dirt Devils.... I hope they play as well as they did tonight... My mom was down and got to go to the game!! Also,what a treat!!! Aunt JoJo and Uncle Jesse came and watched Hannah play also! It was great visiting with them.. I hope they enjoyed the ball game... I know they were proud of Hannah tonight too.... Well, we just got showers and we are running way behind schedule, sooooo Goodnight....

Sunny Day!

Today the sun decided to come out again!! It's been sooo pretty outside... Dave and the girls went to church this morning.... Me and Mom stayed home.. When the girls got home we heated up leftover soup and that's what we had for lunch... The girls had pizza bites!! They never want to eat what we cook for ourselves... Anyways, Hannah had softball practice at 3pm and they just got back from that.. She has her first season game tomorrow night.... I can't wait to see them play again... Nana is going to stay and watch and Uncle Chase may come and watch too... It's back to work and school like normal starting tomorrow... The fun is over..... Atleast everyone had a great time..... Well, it's time to get off of here and go find something for supper... Goodnight....

Family Movie Night:Horton Hears A Who

We had family movie night again... We watched Horton hears a who.. It's a really cute movie and the girls enjoyed it... My mom is here and watched it with us... Fun times..... Good way to unwind from such a great day!!!

Our New Nephew

We had a wonderful day today!! The girls came home this morning from Hampton... My mom is here and will stay for a few days.. When they got home we went to North Little Rock Baptist Hospital and got to see and visit with Uncle Mike, Aunt Bridgette, MiMi, and our new little nephew Jacob!! He is an absolute dream!!! He is perfect in every way!! We are all in love already! He got to leave the hospital going home this afternoon.. I know they were ready to get him home and get in their routine.... We can't wait to see him again!!!! We got home around 2 and Hayleigh took a much needed nap... We played on the Wii some and Dave helped some men cut the rest of our pine tree down!! It's finally all gone!! We had soup for supper and are now sitting here watching a movie.... It will soon be time for baths and bed!!!!

Welcome Jacob Work!!

My beautiful nephew was born today!! Jacob was born in NLR today and is going to make a wonderful addition to our family... He was 6lb and 3oz... He's absolutely perfect in every way!! What can I say? I'm a proud Aunt... I know Michael and Bridgette will be wonderful parents and I'm sooo happy for them.... We didn't get to hold him tonight, but we are going back in the morning and I can't wait to get my hands on him!! I didn't get to take in pics tonight either, but I'll post some tomorrow.. The girls will be home in the morning and we are going to take them to meet their new cousin... The first boy!! He's going to be sooo rotten.... I'm already in love.... Anyways, nothing much else happened today.. Work was work.... The girls had fun in Hampton. They stayed with mom and MaMaw Ione and went to the park and played... I'm ready to get them home!! They were supposed to come tonight, but change of plans with the baby coming and all, so I'll see them in the morning!!!! I can't wait!!!

A Date With My Husband

I've been alone since Wednesday morning and I'm about to go stir crazy!! I spent the night alone last night.. I don't remember me ever being brave enough for that.... I'm kinda proud of myself... David got home around 2:30 today and I was glad to see him... I've talked to the girls about a dozen times today... I sure am missing them... Me and Dave went to Wal-Mart to pick up some cleaning supplies and then went out to eat at the Catfish Barn.. It was really good... I didn't want to go home right away, so we drove to Benton to visit with Shanna and Dale for a little while.. After that we went to Lowe's to look at floor colors... Dave and Dale will probably start laying floors in a week or two.. I can't wait to get rid of this crappy carpet!! Anyways, another quiet night around the Work house.. I can barely stand it..... Atleast I work tomorrow, so I'll be around people again!!! Goodnight..

Home Alone!

Well, I'm home alone tonight... I can't remember the last time I've been left alone for a whole day... It's been nice up until right about now, because I'm getting bored.... I'm watching Twilight for the 3rd time today... Also, I've gotten some laundry done in peace... The cat is curled up in my lap right now.. For some reason, that's his favorite place... He's my only company, so I won't complain... I don't know what's for supper... I guess anything I want, huh? Dave will be home tomorrow from Heber Springs and boy will I be glad.... Hannah and Hayleigh are in Locust Bayou staying with my mom and NaNa and PaPaw....They will be back on Saturday.. I'll be glad to have them back.... Well, boredom calls.... I guess I'll move on to other things... My brother is supposed to come tonight for supper, we'll see...... Goodnight...

From Wind To Rain!

Well, we went from wind to rain... It's been raining so hard today.. Some spring break, huh?? Hannah came home this morning and went rollerskating with the TLC. Hayleigh went to school this morning with her Daddy... I went to work for a little while this morning and then came home and did some cleaning... David picked the girls up early and he came home and packed his bags.. He'll be gone for 2 days for some meetings in Heber Springs.. We'll miss him... Mom came up today and will stay with us tonight... She's going to take the girls back with her tomorrow for the rest of the week so they can play with NaNa Carolyn and PaPaw J.C. They'll have lots of fun.. Wish I was going! I may or may not have to work tomorrow.. Only time will tell.. I'm supposed to be out until Friday..... It's kinda been nice to have a little break....We went and had supper at Jordan's BBQ and then ran over to Old Navy so I could get the girls some flip flops to pack for their trip... Needless to say, we are all soaking wet right now, but glad to be home out of the weather.... We are now watching T.V. and drying off!!

Windy Day

Today the wind has blown and blown.. Kinda nice when it's not cold air! Haha... Hayleigh went to TLC today and had a good one... Hannah was supposed to come home tonight, but she's having such a good time at MiMi and PaPaw's that she is staying one more night. Seems she's met a buddy there and she's gonna have a sleep over tonight... I miss her!! Oh well, what's one more night... As long as she's having fun... They will bring her home in the morning and she'll go to TLC... They are going roller skating so she won't want to miss that!! I have to work again tomorrow!! Yuck! David has class in Little Rock in the morning... Mom will be coming up tomorrow afternoon and she will take the girls back with her on Wednesday so they can spend some time with her and NaNa and PaPaw..... I'm going to be glad when this week is over! I hate it when my girls are gone!!! Well, I bought BOLT today and Hayleigh wanted to watch it right away so that's what we've been doing tonight.. I didn't sleep well last night so I'm ready for bed already!!! Hope everyone has another great day!!!

Funday Sunday!

Today has been a great day at the Work House.. We've been minus one today, because Hannah is at MiMi and PaPaw's and will be there until tomorrow... Daddy went to church this morning and me and Hayleigh stayed home.. When Dave got home, we made chili and had lunch together. Then it was nap time and after that we went riding around to entertain Hayleigh. We went and got drinks at Sonic and drove around for awhile.. We would have stopped by Shanna and Dale's house, but they are NEVER home!!!! Thanks Shanna!!! Anyways, we got home and had chili again for supper and now we are watching Planet Earth on T.V. Well, gotta go, Hannah's on the phone and I'm not gonna miss talking to my baby!!!! Goodnight!

3rd Place In Bryant Preseason Classic 2009

Go Dirt Diamonds!!! The girls did soooo good today in their very first tournament!! They lost their first game to the Stars 20-3, but they played their little hearts out.. Then they won the next 3 games..... I was so proud of Hannah!! She did so good hitting and batting today.. My little softball star! After they got back from the games, Hannah went home with MiMi and PaPaw and she will spend the next 2 days with them.. I guess Hayleigh has the house to herself for awhile.. We went and picked up the 3rd place trophy at the ball park and then got supper at Taco Bell. We're now sitting around watching T.V. and talking about the day... I miss Hannah already!! I know she'll have a good time though.... That's all from the Work House tonight.. Until tomorrow.

Twilight Released Tomorrow!

First Day Of Spring

Today was the first official day of spring!! Yeah!!! I can't wait until the weather catches up with that!!! I'm soooo tired of winter I could scream!! We had another busy day at work... We had Hannah's first softball game tonight.. She's playing in a tournament.. They won their first game tonight 7-0.. I couldn't believe it!! Hannah was crying because she struck out twice during the game.. It didn't matter that she got the winning play of the game by tagging a runner out.. Matter of fact she tagged quite a few runners out.... We were very proud of her!!! I was proud of all those girls!!!! Me and Hayleigh cheered them the whole time!!!!! They play again in the morning and depending on if they win or not, they may have another game later on in the day. MiMi and Papaw are coming up to watch her play tomorrow and she is going to go back home with them for a few days because Spring Break is next week!! No School!!!!! Hayleigh will hang out at home with us...... We are eating supper now (Sonic) and getting ready to play a little Wii Fit and get baths and go to bed!!! Goodnight....

We Finally Got Wii Fit!

Today was another great day! I had the day off and got to spend most of it by myself!! That's so nice every once in awhile.. The girls went to school and had great days.. We had to have the garage door worked on this morning.. We had to call a repairman and it cost an arm and a leg, but at least we didn't have to get a new door!! When Dave got off I met him and the girls up at Great Clips and me and the girls got our hair cut.... After that Dave and Hannah went to the ball field to pass out uniforms and me and Hayleigh went to Target to kill some time.. I was walking in the back and saw that they had Wii Fit!!!!!! I called Dave right away and got the green light to get it.... He's been playing on it ever since... We have been waiting to get if forever and no one ever seems to have it in stock.... I hope we don't kill ourselves on it!!! It will be fun.... Who knows, we might even loose some weight on it!!! Tomorrow is another busy day!! After work Hannah has her first tournament softball game.... I know that they will have so much fun... I'll be a nervous wreck....... Anyways, goodnight!!

Dinner With Friends

Well we ended the day great today!! Everyone had good days at work and school.. When I got off work I went and picked the girls up and met Shanna back at the clinic and she rode with us to eat at The Ole Feed House.... David had to help the guys cutting our tree down, so he met us a little later to eat... It was sooo good.. The food was great and the kids were really good too.... We had fun eating and visiting with Shanna and Dale and the kids... When we got home I was just stepping through the door and David turned the garage door to go down and we heard a loud POP!!! Scared us too death!!!! The wire on the door snapped clean into!! So now the garage door is broken... Guess we will fix that tomorrow... Hope it doesn't cost too much!!!!! We are now sitting here watching Monster Quest (it's about sharks) I'm waiting to see who gets kicked off American Idol... Guess I'll have to wait.... The sharks are way more important according to Dave!! I'm supposed to be off tomorrow and boy do I sure hope I am... I could use a day to myself... Maybe I can get some stuff done around the house without anyone in my way!! That would be awesome......

Happy St.Patrick's Day!

I hope everyone had a great St.Patty's Day. I know we did! We got up this morning and everyone dressed in their green.... Even Daddy! Work was busy, busy again, but not too bad. Hannah had BEAR night at school, so when I got off work we ate supper real quick and then headed over to Hurricane Creek to learn about black bears.. We watched a video and did some activities like decorate bandannas.. The girls had lots of fun doing the different things.. Hannah also got to join in on the book swap..... She brought a couple of her old books and got some new ones she didn't have! We got home and had baths and now we are ready for bed!! Tomorrow will be just another busy day!!!!
