Potty Training 101

Well, we've had another great day at home... We got up this morning and went to church.. It was a really good sermon... We also bought some cookies from the bake sale... Yum, Yum..... When we got home, we ate Sunday pot roast..... Then it was nap time.... When we got up we went and got in the swimming pool for a little while..... The water is just right now!! Lot's of fun.... Mom came in today and will spend a couple of nights with us... Tonight we are just hanging out and we will have pizza for supper..... Hannah is excited because she is starting the summer program at daycare... They are having a Ice Cream Party tomorrow!! She loves summers at daycare..... Anyways, I'm supposed to be off tomorrow and I'm sure I'll hang out in the pool some and catch up on some reading if that's possible.... Hayleigh has had 3 great days with her potty training... She has kept her panties dry with very little accidents!! Finally we are getting some where!! I know that I can thank Mrs. Angie at school for jump starting this!! I was having no luck! And the poo issue is still problem, but we will get that knocked out soon too... I just know it... Here's a cute pic of Hayleigh on the potty.. Great Saturday At Home

We've had a really great day at home today.... Got up this morning and Dave went and got some donuts for breakfast... He also ran to Wal-Mart to pick up a few things.... When he got home we got out in the pool for a little while... Came in and I put Hannah in the shower and got her ready because she had a birthday party to go to at noon.... Her and Dave went to Larry's Pizza for one of Hannah's team mates party... It was Ashley's 7th birthday!! Happy birthday Ashley!!! They had lots of fun playing air hockey and bowling... While they were gone I put Hayleigh down for her nap and I read for a little while.. When they got back, we got out in the pool again for a good long time.... It was so much fun!! The girls had a blast.. Hayleigh discovered that she could touch!! She's walking all over that pool now.... When we got out, we dried off and watched T.V. for a while... We had turkey burgers and cheese dip!! Yummm..... Then cupcakes for dessert!! We are now sitting around as a family watching girls championship softball.... Tomorrow will be church and more swimming!! Hope everyone is having a great weekend too.....

Dirt Diamonds Vs. The Heartbreakers III

Just an update.... The Dirt Diamonds finished their season tonight with a win!!! They beat the Heartbreakers 9-6..... All the girls played great and Hannah had a few base hits..... I couldn't be more proud of what they've accomplished.... We are going to have a End Of Season Banquet next week to hand out trophies and let the girls get together and play... Can't wait until Fall Ball starts now... Hannah will move up and play with the pitching machine instead of coach pitch.... We will see how that goes...lol......

Last Day Of School!

Today was Hannah's last day of first grade!! It went by so fast... She had a end of year ceremony today and Dave, MiMi and NeNaw went to it... Hannah got a Reading award! She's reading on a 3rd grade level... That's my girl!! She told me they got to watch 2 movies today too... She also helped me make Mrs. Humphries a goody basket... I took some pics of it this morning and I also took a picture of Hannah on her last day.... Daddy got some pics of her at her awards ceremony this morning also... Today was a good day at work, but a long one... David's having some problems with his truck.. I hope it hangs in there a little longer because we do not need another car payment over the summer because of daycare going up!! Anyways, Dave had to work the gate at the softball field tonight.. Hannah has a game at 8pm with the Heartbreakers.... I'll update when we get home with the score.... He's gotta come pick us up around 7pm because his truck is not starting right now... He had to take my ride...I hope we win tonight! It's our last game of the season.... I'm sure we will swim some tomorrow... Other than that, I don't know our plans the rest of the weekend.....

Is It Friday Yet?

Is it Friday yet? I mean this week has been all messed up since we were out for the holiday on Monday.... It feels like today should have been my Friday, but no such luck.... The girls had a good day.. Hayleigh went all day with only one accident in her panties at school today!! Yeah! One of these days she'll quit being hard headed and give in to this thing we call potty training!! I went and picked the girls up after I got off work so Dave could go to Wal-Mart for some things... I'm still waiting on him to get home!! I know what he did! He ran into a hundred people he knew and had to talk to every single one of them!!! He should be Mayor!! HaHa... Supper will be sonic and baths and bed will be early tonight! Hannah only has one more day of school before they are out!!! I can't wait for summer to begin..... Tomorrow Hannah also has her last game of the season at 8pm..... I hope they win!!!

New Shoe Shopping

Today I was off.. Seems like I just got back to work!! Anyways, I did some stuff around the house after Dave and the girls left this morning... Later on, I went to Shoe Carnival to get Hannah some new tennis shoes... She has worn her Nike's out over this year and it was just time for some new ones... She wanted some Sketchers like Hayleigh's so that is what we got... She wanted the ones that you don't have to tie.... I got her a size 2 and was hoping for the best because I didn't have her to try them on.... After that I went on to Wal-Mart for a few things and then home to wait on my girls.... I got some reading in too... What a great book I'm reading right now... When they got home I had Hannah try her shoes on and they were to big.. I knew it!! So, me and her ran back up to Shoe Carnival to exchange her shoes.. I had her there so we got the right size this time!! Then we went to RUE 21 and Hannah got some earrings and a peace sign necklace... When we got home we got into our bathing suites and went swimming in our new pool for the first time!!! Yeah!!! We had lots of fun and the water was just right... Then we came in and had supper. Fish sticks, peas and carrots, and mac and cheese was on the menu for the night... We are now watching WIPEOUT!!!!! The new season started tonight and our family LOVES watching it... So funny!! Back to work tomorrow...... Goodnight.....

Dirt Diamonds Vs. Lady Movers II

Today was back to work.... Good day.... It was a good busy in well clinic.... And what a beautiful day weather wise!! Me and Shanna went to TaMolly's at lunch with Dale.... And I'm still full from it.... When I got home Hannah and Dave got dressed for their softball game in Sardis at 6pm.. I decided to stay at home with Hayleigh because I don't get to watch the games when I have her anyways..... I would have liked to be there.. She has one more game this season in Bryant and then it's over until Fall Ball starts.... Can't wait!! The Dirt Diamonds played the Sardis Lady Movers and lost 11-6... Can't win them all..... Hannah did real good... She got 2 home runs and brought in 3 runners each time!! I'm so proud of how far she has come and how much she truly loves this!!! I think we might stick with this softball thing!!!! We're all big fans now...... Go Dirt Diamonds!!! Next time she plays it will be with the pitching machine!!! Tomorrow I'm supposed to be off and I hope I am... Got some stuff to do......

Happy Memorial Day!!

It always decides to rain on weekends it shouldn't!! It's been a good but rainy weekend.... We still haven't gotten in our pool yet... I guess that will take a few days... I can't wait though! And I know the girls can't either.... We tried getting in today,but way tooo cold.....My mom stayed an extra day and it's been fun hanging out here with her and Dave and the girls.... We had all kinds of things that we wanted to do this weekend but we really haven't followed through on any of it... Got some things done around the house while mom kept the girls occupied.... That's been nice.. I'm ready to get back to work tomorrow, though... Tired of being in the house.... I've got to finish 2 books this weekend!!! I'm back into my reading.... Yeah..... We also had Doritos chicken casserole for supper... Yum, Yum, Yum..... Hannah was supposed to have a game tonight at 8pm but it got called off... Bummer.... Now I'm sitting here watching Intervention... The new season starts tonight and I can't wait! Also, Tori and Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood starts tomorrow night!! I'm a huge fan..... Don't know why...... Soon will be winding down for the day and getting ready for Hannah's last week of school!!! Can't believe that!!!! Summer already.....

Nice Day at Home

Today has been a great day at home... We had chocolate pancakes for breakfast.. Then me and Dave got in Hannah's room and did an overhaul on it... We got rid of lots of toys and moved some things around... The girls just don't play with toys.. They aren't interested, so I moved them all out.. I also got all of Hannah's winter clothes put up and her shoes that she can't wear anymore. That took half the day, but well worth it..... Lunch was peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and chips... Then everyone laid down for afternoon naps... And what a great day for that!! When we got up me and Dave went to Wal-Mart to pick up a few things for supper. We are having great northern beans and cornbread....That's what daddy wanted....We are now watching America's Next Top Model marathon and waiting on supper to be done...The girls are playing with their new leap frog game that MiMi and PaPaw got Hayleigh for her birthday... Today would have been a great day to SWIM!!! To bad we didn't check the weather before we decided to buy a pool!!!! Maybe we will get to try it out tomorrow... What Tired Looks Like

We've had a fun filled long day here at the Work house... We got up this morning and Dave made french toast... Then we hung around here until around 11am and then decided to go out to eat for lunch... We landed at TaMolley's and it was sooo good... We totally stuffed ourselves..... Then we went over to Wal-Mart to pick up a few things... Mom decided to come up today and stay a few days with us and she was waiting on us when we pulled into the drive way.... We stayed at the house for a little while and then decided that a swimming pool would look great in our backyard!!! So me and Dave went to Target and got the last one they had of the size we wanted, and we worked on getting that set up the rest of the afternoon.... We still don't have it full of water yet, so we'll finish that project tomorrow.... Then we worried about Hayleigh going outside without us and going for a swim, so Dave drove back up to Wal-Mart and we installed a chain on the back door so she can't open the door without one of us undoing the latch!! Are we smart or what? She keeps us on our toes, so we have to think like her..... Anyways, we had steaks for supper with the usual potatoes and corn... So Good..... And then it was bath time... But before we could get Hayleigh in there, she was fast asleep on Hannah's bed.... She never woke up while I bathed her..... No nap today..... I took a pic of her before we woke her up... It was tooo cute! I'll put pics up of the pool tomorrow when it's all put together..... Goodnight....

Dirt Diamonds Vs. High Maintenance

Today was a busy day... Work was good, but busy too.... Dave only worked half a day and came home and mowed and cleaned the house some... What a good husband, huh? He picked up the girls and they waited on me to get home... When I got home we got dressed for our softball game at 7pm against High Maintenance... We won 14-8...Go Team!! Hannah got a single and a home run!!! Dang, my girl is good!!!! Haha!!! Anyways, after the game we stayed and watched two other teams that we have to play on Monday and Tuesday..... Then we got supper (Burger King) and now are getting showers and ready for bed.... It's been a long week!! I'm glad it's over.... Tomorrow we don't have any plans yet, but I'm sure we will come up with something. It's supposed to rain AGAIN!!! We can't catch a break!!!

Back To Work

Today was back to work for me... It was a good day... Busy, but not to busy.... After I got off I went and picked the girls up from daycare.. David and Dale went to the auctions to see if anything good was there.... He didn't stay long.. When he got home him and Hannah went walking and I stayed in with Hayleigh.. She came running into the living room screaming about her eyes... On closer inspection, I noticed she had shampoo in her dry hair!! AGAIN!!! It was all in her face and hair!! I had to put her in the sink and rinse her off with her protesting the whole time!!! It's always something with that child!!! Anyways we are now getting ready for supper (Pizza).. And it will be baths and bed time soon.... Goodnight.....

Kris Allen Won American Idol 2009!

I can't believe it!!! Kris Allen won American Idol!!!! Go Arkansas!!! I'm on cloud nine right now! Today was another day off for me... Spent it around the house.. The girls went to school and daycare.... When Dave got off work he picked up the girls and came home... We went and had supper at KFC (the buffet) It was sooo good!! Then we went driving around looking at houses.. We like to do that every once in awhile just to get out of the house.... It was fun.... We then came home to get ready to watch American Idol.... We were not going to miss it tonight!!! And I'm so glad that we followed this season! It's been sooo good.... I don't know what I'm going to watch now that the show is over and Grey's too!! I'm sure I'll find something... It's back to work tomorrow and I'm glad to have something to do.....

Dirt Diamonds Vs. Lil Sparks

Today I went to work for half a day with Amber... It was doing check-ups so right up my ally.... I got home and did some chores until Dave and the girls got home... We got dressed in our Dirt Diamond gear and headed to Benton to play the Lil Sparks... We lost our game in overtime 10-11. We probably should have won, but it was a good game... A close one.... Hannah had some good hits... I didn't get to watch much because I had little munchkin and she didn't want to stay still enough to watch softball tonight!! We walked all over that ball park. Now I have a headache and I'm ready for bed.... We had supper (peanut butter and jelly sandwiches) and now are watching Deadliest Catch.... American Idol just went off and we are rooting for Kris Allen!! Good luck tonight Kris!!!! Tomorrow will be another day off for me unless they call me in... So, I don't know what I have planned just yet..... Soon it will be bath time and bed!! yeah...

Dirt Diamonds Vs. Hurricane's

Today was my day off and I kept Hayleigh home just in case she decided to get another fever.. She did real good today though..... We got up this morning and sent Hannah and Daddy off to work and school and got dressed and went to Harvest Foods in Bryant because they started their 50% off sale this morning. They are going out of business too... We stocked up on some more groceries... Needless to say we don't have room for much more!! We then went to the bank to deposit some checks and then off to Shoe Carnival to pick out Miss Hayleigh some NIKES.... We got there and she found something she much rather have.... Rain galoshes!! Pretty pink polka dotted rain galoshes..... Pics above.... She's sooo crazy... So of course we got them... HaHa.....We then went on to Kohl's and found her some Sketchers.. So, she did end up with her shoes.... After that we went to Wal-Mart to pick up some milk and bread.. She got a cute outfit there also.. Then it was home and nap time.. She took a long nap, and when we got up it was time for Daddy and Hannah to get home. She also got a package in the mail from Uncle Micheal and Aunt Bridgette for her birthday... She got a Dora doll, Dora coloring book, and some Dora books!! So, we had to take ALL of that to the softball game that we had tonight!!! The Dirt Diamonds played at 8pm tonight!! Yuck! They played the Hurricanes and beat them 9-6...... Go Dirt Diamonds!!! Hannah struck out her first time up and then made a triple the next time... Everyone did real good tonight... We have another game tomorrow in Benton at 6pm and I hope we do well then too... Goodnight.....

My Baby Is Still Sick...

Today was no better for little Hayleigh... We had a bad night with high fevers and when she got up this morning all she wanted to do lay on me... She hasn't moved much today and only wants her mommy.... I have to keep giving her Tylenol and Motrin or her fever goes up real high... She's really not having any other symptoms, but she does keep telling me her tummy hurts.. Other than that I really don't know what's wrong with her...She seems to be doing better this evening though... She's eating some and talking more so that's a good sign.... I've been worried enough that I almost took her to the ER, but decided to wait it out.. I guess we'll be going to the clinic in the morning if she is no better... We had plans today to go to Aunt JoJo's jewelry party and the girls were going to fish with daddy and Uncle Jesse, but that didn't happen...If only kids let us know when they are planning on getting sick. It would make our jobs alot easier.... HaHa.... I can never make plans...... I just hated that she was sick on her birthday and she hasn't even been able to enjoy her toys she got.... I'm seeing signs of improvement tonight, so I'm happy..... Daddy and Hannah went to Sunday school this morning, but that's all the going that the Work's have done today..... Supper will be Breakfast because Hayleigh wants scrambled eggs.... Atleast she wants to eat..... Goodnight...

Happy 3rd Birthday Hayleigh!

My little girl turned 3 today!! And boy, what a wild ride it has been so far.... She really has brightened our world up and made our little family complete... She is a beautiful, smart, and funny little girl... She is her on person and I love that about her... I'm proud to be her mommy... We woke up this morning and sang Happy Birthday to her and then we got dressed and on the road to Pine Bluff... We got there around 10am and got unloaded at MiMi and PaPaw's house.. Me and Dave then ran to Wal-Mart to pick up hot dogs and chips for lunch... When we got back we cooked and ate lunch... I was holding Hayleigh and noticed she felt warm... So I took her temp and it was 102!!!!! She's sick on her birthday!!!! WHAT!! She keeps saying her tummy hurts and if i don't pump her full of Tylenol and Motrin her fever just keeps going up.. I hope it's just a fever virus and not something like strep throat..... I hate it when my girls are sick... And I hate fever even more... She has been in my lap most of the day... She didn't even want to eat her birthday cake... She did pipe up when it was time to open her presents, but when that was over it was nap time...... I hope this doesn't last long, but she doesn't want anyone but her Mommy right now, Not even Daddy!!! Now that's crazy, because she is a daddy's girl!! She got lots of cool things for her birthday though.... She got blocks, clothes, Dora dolls, a bubble maker,puzzles, and a little toy kitty cat..... Here are some pics from her party today....... It's Friday! And My Baby Turns 3 Tomorrow!

I'm sooo glad it's Friday!! Work was slow again and the day dragged.... We brought cupcakes to Hayleigh's class this morning for her birthday.... She had a great day playing at daycare... Hannah had a good day too... She got a note from the teacher saying NO MORE HOMEWORK this year!! Yeah..... David got off early and picked up Hayleigh's Dora birthday cake.. When I got off work I went and picked the girls up and we met dad at home... Hannah got ready for her softball game and her and Dave headed off to Benton to play the Lightning... When they got there the other team had already forfeited... So they didn't get to play!! Hannah was sooo mad... She really wanted to play... She came home and said "Mom, they were to scared to play us" HaHa.... Anyways, we are going to wait until Hayleigh goes to bed and then we have to wrap presents.... In the morning we will get up and go to Pine Bluff to spend the day and have Hayleigh's birthday party..... Fun, Fun, Fun.....

Dirt Diamonds Vs. Pink Ponies

The Dirt Diamonds played tonight against the Pink Ponies and won 13-1... They were hitting so good tonight!! Hannah got a triple, a double, and a home run tonight!! She also tagged out two runners going to first base... After we got done we went on to Wal-Mart to pick up some drinks and cupcakes for Hayleigh's birthday party at school tomorrow.... As we were leaving we got into a little fender bender.... A girl hit us in the parking lot... So we had to wait for the police to come and exchange insurances... I'm sick to my stomach, because now I have scratches and a dent in my bumper!!! I know that it could have been worse..... But still..... Today was slow at work.... Took forever before the day was done.... The girls were good today also.... Hannah couldn't wait to get home and get dressed for her game.... We have another game tomorrow night in Benton with the Lightning... We've never played them yet.... Anyways, hope everyone has a better night than I've been having.......

Getting Ready For A Birthday Party!

So, I was off today and had lots to do!! Until today, I hadn't done anything for Hayleigh's Birthday party on Saturday! I got all of it done today.... All her presents are bought and the cake is ordered.... Everything is done now and I'm feeling much better because I stress until things are done.... I think she will have a great Dora the Explorer birthday party!! We are just having a small one, because this year she could care less..... She just wants the cake!! I can't believe my BABY is turning 3 in a few days!! Boy, time flies.... Today Hannah had a field trip to Pinnacle Mountain State Park... She got to pet a baby alligator... She had lots of fun... They even had a picnic out there.... Today was a great day off...... I even read a new book and can't wait to finish it... Hope all is well with everyone... Oh, and thanks Michelle for the horse game... Hannah has been playing it since she got home!!! She loves it and she's gonna make you a thank you card and send it to you.... THANKS!!!

Rain,Rain, GO AWAY!!!!!!!!

I'm like really getting depressed with no sunshine in weeks.... I NEED the sunshine..... My children NEED to play outside... In a bad way!! Today was a not so busy day at work.... I was excited because we finally had something to do tonight, but gee, it rained some more and Hannah's softball game got cancelled AGAIN!!! We are going to have so many make-up games it's going to make our heads spin..... Came home after work and Dave decided after all that grocery shopping we did last night that he wanted steaks, so he went on up to Wal-Mart and picked some up... So that's what we had for supper, and they were awesome..... Throw in a baked potato and corn on the cob and we were set..... Now watching Deadliest Catch and getting ready for bed. I'll have to wait until in the morning to watch how American Idol was... Darn men and their remote controls..... They think they own everything!!!! Oh well, I'm tired anyways..... So, I'll just take myself to bed.... He's lucky!! Goodnight everyone....

Thrifty Family!!

I can say we are a thrifty family now!! Harvest Foods Grocery Stores are going out of business, and all of their food is 50% off.. So after work me and Dave and the girls went to Benton and stocked up on everything!! Pull-ups, frozen foods, spices, and cake mixes.... And alot of other stuff I've already forgotten about!! It's so funny what excites us at this age!!! So easily amused... The girls were good today... I still haven't bought my almost 3yr old a single present and her birthday is Saturday!! Get on the ball, MOM!!! We are planning her a small party at MiMi and PaPaw's.. We can still get away with small parties with her right now, but Hannah will be a different story.... Her birthday is coming up too..... Summer is busy around the Work house... So, it's time to get baths and go to bed.. I'm always wore out Monday nights.... And tomorrow if the rain doesn't stop us, we have a softball game in Benton.... We'll see..... Goodnight......

Happy Mother's Day!

I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day! I know I did... My kids woke me up this morning and brought me cards in bed... We then had cinnamon rolls before we got ready for church... At church they played a really cool video of our kids telling us why they love us... I was almost in tears....After church we came home for our Sunday pot roast and mashed potatoes... Then a perfect afternoon for a nap... Hannah cleaned her room up for me... That was the best present of all!! HaHa... When we got up we ran to Wal-Mart to order Hayleigh's Dora Birthday Cake and pick up a few things.. Supper will be hamburger pizza... Yum Yum.... And mommy wanted some Ice Cream, so that will be desert... I took a picture of all the great cards and presents my girls and husband got me.. Hayleigh made me the flower vase and flowers, and Hannah made me the tea cup with tea bags...And they both got me the cutest cards... I want to take this time to wish Aunt Bridgette and Aunt JoJo Happy First Mother's Day!!!! I hope you guys are having a good one!!!! It's wonderful isn't it? Love you guys....
